Besides honey, we offer other treasures from the beehive: bee pollen and propolis from our apiary in Poland, as well as selected royal jelly. All products are natural and free from additives.
Bee pollen – our bestseller
Bee pollen consists of the small, colourful pellets that bees collect when visiting flowers and carry back to the hive on their hind legs. At the hive entrance we catch part of it with a special pollen trap – the bees keep using the rest themselves. The pollen is then gently dried and filled without further processing.
Each pellet comes from a particular plant. That is why the colour ranges from light yellow through orange to brown – depending on what is in bloom in the area. This natural variety shows that it is a genuine, untreated natural product. Bee pollen tastes floral, mildly sweet and slightly tart, with a pleasant bite.
How to enjoy bee pollen
- sprinkled over yoghurt, quark or muesli
- in a smoothie or porridge
- stirred into honey as a natural spread
- as a colourful topping on fruit salad and desserts
If you are trying bee pollen for the first time, it is best to start with a small amount.
Proper storage
Keep bee pollen tightly closed, dry, cool and protected from light – the fridge is fine too. This way its colour and aroma are preserved for a long time.
Propolis
Propolis is the resin that bees collect from buds and tree bark and process in the hive. We offer raw propolis in natural pieces – just as it is harvested in our apiary.
Royal jelly
Royal jelly is the secretion with which the bees feed their queen. We carry raw royal jelly with 2.2% 10-HDA from a selected partner. It is delivered chilled and labelled as a food supplement.
