Lovely to have you here!
Your bee pollen comes from Poland – collected by bees, gently dried and packed with nothing added. Here you'll find tips on storing it, enjoying it and simple ideas for every day.
Why so colourful?
Each granule is a small pollen load that a bee brings back from one particular plant. That's where all the colours come from – yellow, orange, brown and sometimes even purple. Colour and taste change with the season and the flowers. For a natural product, that's completely normal.
How it tastes
Bee pollen tastes floral, slightly sweet and sometimes a little tangy. The granules are crunchy. If you prefer them softer, let them soak for a few minutes in a little water, milk or yoghurt.
How to store it
Keep it cool, dry and away from light, and always reseal the bag well after opening. A handy tip: pour a small portion into a jar for everyday use and keep the rest in the fridge. Pollen doesn't like moisture – please always use a dry spoon.
Start small
If you're trying bee pollen for the first time, start with just a few granules and slowly work up to about a teaspoon. It's best not to cook or bake it – sprinkle it over the finished dish instead.
Three simple ideas
Yoghurt breakfast
Natural yoghurt with oats, fresh fruit and a teaspoon of honey – finish with a teaspoon of bee pollen sprinkled on top.
Banana smoothie
Briefly blend 1 banana, 200 ml milk or oat drink, a handful of berries and 1 teaspoon of bee pollen, and enjoy straight away.
Honey toast with pollen
Spread a slice of wholegrain bread with butter or cream cheese, drizzle with a little acacia honey and sprinkle with bee pollen.
Please note
Not suitable for people with an allergy to pollen or bee products. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or take medication regularly, please talk to your doctor first.
